CCA is pleased to announce that it is partnering
with Brown Governance to conduct the second national governance
survey. Towards Excellence: National Report
on Credit Union & Co-operative Governance Practices
2007, will examine such areas as:
- board selection practices
- board and committee composition
- director terms and tenure
- board and committee compensation
- board responsibilities
- board and director evaluations
- director education
- board reporting and measurement practices
- member and stakeholder relation practices
Data on corporate sector practices will also
be included, allowing co-operatives to see how their governance
practices either lead or lag the corporate sector.
